Ham Farm Kennels: Terms & Conditions

  1. Responsibility: You as the owner understand and agree that Ham Farm Kennels, its staff, and owners accept no responsibility for loss or injury to your dog while in their care.

  2. Collection and Drop-off: Pets should be dropped off and collected during our designated opening hours unless prior arrangements have been made. Pick up and drop off times Monday – Saturday 8.30am-9.30am and 4.30pm-5.30pm
    Sundays 8.30am-9.30am.

  3. If your dog is not collected within 10 days of the specified collection date, and no communication is received from you, you authorise Ham Farm Kennels to sell or dispose of the dog at their discretion. This does not release you from liability for any unpaid charges. No refunds will be provided in the case of early collection of your pet.

  4. Veterinary Fees: In case of illness, veterinary fees and nursing will be charged separately.

  5. Vaccination: A valid certificate of vaccination must be provided upon arrival at Ham Farm Kennels. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that your pet is fit, healthy, and free from contagious disease when placing them in the care of Ham Farm Kennels. If there is no up to date vaccination record, Ham Farm Kennels reserves the right to refuse boarding for your dog.

  6. Medication and Special Needs: If your pet requires medication or has special dietary or care needs, please inform us at the time of booking. We will make every effort to accommodate these needs, but additional charges may apply depending on the level of care required.

  7. Charges: All dogs will be charged for the day of arrival and departure, unless otherwise agreed upon at the time of booking.

  8. Pre-existing Conditions: you are required to disclose any pre-existing conditions your pet may have, and Ham Farm Kennels reserves the right to consult a veterinary surgeon if necessary.

  9. Own Food: Ham Farm Kennels request you to bring your dog’s food to last the duration of their stay. We do not want to cause any tummy upset by giving your dog food they are not used to.

  10. Personal Belongings: Please bring everything needed for your pet's comfort, you are welcome to bring personal items such as toys or blankets. However, we cannot guarantee the condition or return of these items.

  11. Right to Refuse: Ham Farm Kennels reserves the right to refuse to board any animal that   appears to be unwell or in poor condition.

  12. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled arrival date are non refundable. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking.

  13. Emergency Contact: For circumstances where you cannot pick up your dog, or delayed on holiday, you must provide a contact of who can pick up the dog for you. Your contact must be aware they are named on the form; you will provide their details upon booking. We will do what we can do help, should we be fully booked and your emergency contact cannot collect your dog, we will have to find an alternative boarding kennel. This person must live no further than an hour away from Ham Farm.

  14. We do not accept Male Dogs who are entire due to behavioural issues amongst other dogs.

    By boarding your dog at Ham Farm Kennels, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions and the policies.
